Digi Leaders sharing good practice

Last week our Digi Leaders had a busy Friday afternoon with pupils and teachers from four local schools. They shared their knowledge of three useful apps so that the other pupils could take their learning back to schools and share with their teachers and friends. We plan to meet up again next term.

Space in Minecraft!

Last week we were lucky enough to have a visit from G2G Communities. They brought lots of equipment and gave us an opportunity to use our programming skills with Lego kit. We also used Minecraft to build rockets and blast off into space! This allowed us to learn about lots of different planets along the way.

Google Expeditions

Coding and a Cuppa!

We had a lovely afternoon yesterday with the parents of Year 5/6 pupils who were invited into school to join us in learning how to code. We had a variety of workstations including Scratch, Probots, Big Trak, Makey Makey kits and a Raspberry Pi used to hack Minecraft.

App competition winners!
