School to School Collaboration

This morning eCadets from Southdown visited us to work together on making a child friendly acceptable use policy. This is an agreement which children follow when they are using digital technology in school.

New eCadet incident form

The eCadet team have made their incident log book digital using Google Forms! This way they can quickly see which social media sites or games are causing the most problems.

eCadet interviews

Today we held interviews to recruit our new eCadet team. We were lucky enough to have help from two of our past eCadets who have now left for high school and Mr Brownbill our eSafety Governor. Our new eCadet team will be revealed soon!

Digital Citizenship Awards

We decided to hold a celebration event on the last day of term to celebrate great digital citizenship at Cornist. We awarded a Digital Citizenship award for Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 and a most dedicated eCadet award.

Healthy School Celebration Event

Our school has worked extremely hard to achieve the NQA Healthy Schools award. When the assessors visited we spoke to them about all our eSafety work. We then presented at the Flintshire Healthy Schools to share our knowledge with schools from around Flintshire.
